• Enable edge asset connectivity through database reader, file reader, TCP client/server, UDP socket, serial port, web services (HTTP and SOAP), managed call, and unmanaged call integration options
• Serve as a mediator for protocol conversion and data transformation, including support for protocol/format encoding and decoding
• Provide real-time, edge-of-network event processing, including data filtering, correlation, anomaly detection, notification, and encryption features
