Chief Operating Officer to Serve as Conference Speaker, Company’s SensorBridge™ & SensorPort™ Technologies Demonstrated

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Augusta Systems, Inc. will be featured at RFID World 2007, the leading conference and exposition for RFID-related technologies. Patrick Esposito II, president and chief operating officer of Augusta Systems, will be a featured speaker during the event, held March 26-28 at the Gaylord Texan Resort near Dallas, Texas.

“Increasingly, RFID technologies are being deployed for enterprise asset tracking, monitoring and security purposes. The convergence of RFID system data with data from other sensor systems, devices and networks can present opportunities and challenges for enterprises,” Esposito said.

As a conference speaker, Esposito will discuss the challenges and opportunities of sensor, device and system data convergence and illustrate the need for infrastructure technologies, such as those offered by Augusta Systems, to support these efforts. The company will also demonstrate a converged system of wireless sensors, RFID systems, and surveillance cameras built upon its SensorBridge and SensorPort products.

SensorPort is a reconfigurable sensor network appliance for distributed, intelligent processing at the edge of the network.
