Network Harbor Signs On as Augusta Systems Reseller

Network Harbor to Offer Augusta Systems EdgeFrontier Middleware for Building and Managing Complex Monitoring, Control and Automation Solutions

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Augusta Systems, Inc., provider of technologies that power the intelligent convergence of devices, systems and networks, and Network Harbor, Inc., have signed a reseller agreement. Through the agreement, facility operations management software provider Network Harbor will sell Augusta Systems EdgeFrontier, a complete middleware platform for building and managing complex monitoring, control and automation solutions.

“Augusta Systems EdgeFrontier powers the intelligent convergence of data from diverse sources, making it a complementary product to Network Harbor’s LightHouse, a platform for control of multiple facility systems within a single interface,” said Patrick Esposito, president and chief operating officer of Augusta Systems. “With the combined capabilities of EdgeFrontier and LightHouse, Network Harbor clients are provided with a complete solution for integrated facility management and security.”

EdgeFrontier products from Augusta Systems support integration and normalization of data, events and control functions from diverse devices, systems and networks, regardless of manufacturer or communications protocol, including sensors, wireless sensor networks, RFID systems, video devices and systems, access control systems, metering and measurement devices, actuators, databases, file repositories and other sources. In addition, EdgeFrontier provides structures for event processing and configuration of event or policy-based actions through a policy engine.

Network Harbor’s LightHouse is designed to unify every component of a user's security and building systems in a seamless manner and provide comprehensive control within a single, intuitive user interface. These components include alarms, doors, intercoms, cameras, building management devices, lighting controls, telephones and others. Through the reseller agreement, Network Harbor will offer EdgeFrontier to clients to provide a simplified integration platform that enables convergence of diverse devices and systems and supports remote, localized event or policy-based processing of data and events to push intelligence beyond the data center, throughout the network infrastructure. These capabilities eliminate the need for custom interface development and allow for enhanced information management for Network Harbor LightHouse users.
