Augusta Systems Selected for 3 Rivers Venture Fair

September 19, 2006

Morgantown, W.Va., -- Augusta Systems, a provider of sensor system technologies, will be a featured company at the 3 Rivers Venture Fair, held September 20-21 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. The company is one of only 30 companies in a ten-state region selected to participate in the venture capital event.

“Our sensor system technologies provide a real breakthrough for clients. They enable business, industry and government to manage the data overload that results from wide-scale sensor deployments for security, monitoring and asset tracking. It is a great opportunity for us to showcase these technologies at the 3 Rivers Venture Fair,” said Pat Esposito, chief executive officer of Augusta Systems.

Augusta Systems and its sensor system software and computing technologies will be presented to venture capital investors from the region and beyond during the two-day event.

With its geography expanded to include ten states in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Northeast regions, and a track record for matching investors with high-quality deals, the 3 Rivers Venture Fair is gaining ground as one of the premier technology investment showcases of its kind in the U.S.

Since the event was launched four years ago, cutting-edge, privately held companies that have been featured at the venture fair have collectively raised more than $190 million in capital, an indicator of the event’s ability to showcase companies and investors.

“We are honored to have been selected by the venture capital community to participate in this year’s 3 Rivers Venture Fair. It is an indication of our growth and the outstanding team at Augusta Systems producing our sensor system technologies,” Esposito said.
